Invitation to serve in the US PeaceCorps

"Congratulations!  It is with great pleasure that we invite you to begin training in Cameroon for Peace Corps service."

This simple sentence has been something I have been waiting to read for nearly a year now.  It also could not have come at a better time, as I was in NYC and my MUN Delegation had just received the distinction of outstanding delegation at the NY NMUN 2013 Conference.  It ultimately made the day even better.

Now, I have created this blog as a way for me to hopefully keep in touch with everyone and let all my friends, family, and future followers know what is going on with me during my 27 months in Cameroon.  This blog is being created a bit early because I will not be leaving until the 10th of September this year, but there are many things to happen between now and that day, so I will keep you all posted about the happenings.

For now, I hope to be finding some similar blogs and bloggers to get in touch with to discuss the Peace Corps and especially want to get in touch with volunteers currently in Cameroon.

I hope you all enjoy my posts and future stories!
